Naruto in French

(this could be included in the previous post, but I forgot about it :P)

Two or three days ago I read the official French version of chapter 309 in volume 34 of Naruto, and I have to say (because I like to brag :P kidding) that there's a line there that is not quite right: When Sasuke is about to use "that" technique and Orochimaru stops him by holding his hand, Sasuke says "hanase", which means "let go" or "release" (okay, I haven't got my dictionary with me and google's translation doesn't recognise 放せ, go figure, so I'm going at this by memory, but I'm pretty sure I'm right).

However, the French version of Sasuke says "Lâichez-moi", which means "let go" but in a polite way (literally "let go of me", but that's not important). He should have said "Lâche-moi", which is the form you use when you are comfortable with the person you talk to, like a friend, or in this case when you lack respect for the person in question. The French polite speech has similarities with the Japanese, though not as complex, as opposed to English who makes no distinction whatsoever.

The next time I'm at the book store, I will also read the chapter where Sai is introduced to Sasuke, to see how he talks to Orochimaru. :)

Hey, I'm alive, and I want to say a few things...

I'm bored. Sooo bored. So I decided to write a post. It's not like I don't have absolutely anything to do, 'cause I do, I just don't feel like doing anything at the moment. I haven't written anything here in a while, so it was about time anyway.

So, first thing:
OMG Itachi!! Forget Tobi, you were the nice boy after all. :P It seems that some of the fans' suspicions were right after all. Can't wait to see what really happened in the past. I'm excited! :D

Second thing:
I'm watching season 6 of Oz. I have been desensitised by that show. Most of the scenes don't creep me out anymore. I don't know if I should be worried or not. :P
I've been watching some episodes of Nip Tuck as well. I didn't know there were so many sexual innuendos between Christian and Sean! I had fun watching the show. :)

Third thing:
I went to the doctor today, and I hope that she prescribes me something that makes me well when the test results come.
Oh, and now, finally, I'm taking a birth control pill that makes me feel normal. I'm feeling much more like myself again. The bad thing: it costs a lot more than most pills on the market =_= (I have expensive tastes, what can I say?) Now seriously, I don't know why it's so expensive, but I do know that it sucks. -_-' But at least I'm interested in yaoi again. And sex in general, which is why my relationship with my boyfriend is less stressed. :P

Fourth thing:
God, I'm close to getting a job. Yay! :D Ganbatte!

Fifth thing:
I forgot to mention, but that anime convention in January had SasuNaru cosplay (or narusasu, i dunno) and I didn't get to see it! T_T Gotta hunt for photos; if I'm lucky, someone filmed it. :)

That's it for now. Peace out.
